CAROLYN BESSETTE KENNEDY X ZUBI

June is a month of many changes, it is perhaps one of the most stressful months of our year, not only do we begin to glimpse summer, but we are racing against the clock with the first autumn, and at the same time we prepare for next summer, if ss25 design is completed before July 15th.

In this maelstrom we are in, with 3 collections on the table, we usually let ourselves be carried away by the current of arriving at the end of July no matter what. But not this year! This year we have our future in our hands and we are excited to see the so terrified.

The upcoming collection draws directly from one of the great style icons of the last century, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. She has always been on our moodboards, but we had never dared to really invoke her and make her part of Zubi at all. There were fringes that we found difficult to remove from the present, from what is in fashion now and from fashions.

Maybe it was too minimal, maybe it was too timeless, or maybe it was too trite?

Who said fear! You can't choose what you like and what excites you, so let yourself go and enjoy. Although there are still a few weeks left until our FW24 Preview comes out, we are going to give you a sneak peek of the essential garments that you must have and that we have in our closets. It's not just a garment, it's also color, texture and values.

I have always thought that our classics are perfect, and after a lot of study I know that they are. Let's see how CBK proves us right.

See you soon.

I received a book that I had saved for a long time and I really wanted to buy the one by Caroline Bessette Kennedy CKB. The book is a collection not only of photos, but also of stories. It is organized in several ways, on the one hand it goes through those clothes and topics that made her image iconic, and on the other hand it has a lot of interviews with people who knew her or with designers whose clothes she wore or who even worked with her at some point. It is super interesting, because we all know those photos but we don't know what is behind them, what was happening in the city at that time, what her job was, her transformation into a Kennedy. It is also bound with cloth and with the photo glued on it, which is a way I love to bind. It is a beautiful book to give as a gift and to have at home.

THESE ARE THEIR CLASSICS AND THIS IS HOW WE REINTERPRET THEM AT ZUBI
