One of the luxuries of living near a Botanical Garden is that you can see the whole world from almost your own home. As the seasons pass, they are reflected in blooms and wonderful plants that I can't help but admire.

KOLKWITZIA IS AN EXAMPLE THAT OFTEN THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO LOOK CAREFULLY. SOME SIMPLE DAISIES WHEN LEAVING THE PRADO MUSEUM, ALTHOUGH NOT JUST ANY ONES, SOME THAT WERE IN THE BOTANICAL GARDEN IN MADRID. I LIKE TO GO FOR A WALK IN THIS GARDEN WHICH I KNOW WELL BECAUSE I HAD STUDIED A LANDSCAPING COURSE WITH ONE OF THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE AND HAD TO DEVELOP SEVERAL PROJECTS IN IT. IN SUMMER IT IS DELIGHTFUL TO GO FROM THE SCORCHING HEAT TO ITS CENTENARY SHADE TREES, AND IN WINTER ITS CACTUS STOVES (GREENHOUSES) TAKE ME TO THE DESERT JUST BY CROSSING A DOOR.
