workshops / knitting made in Cuenca

We have a very passionate connection with knitting, we have seen our grandmothers knitting at home with needles and machines, we have worn clothes made by them, and the burda arrived with the same frequency as the newspaper. And we have been very fortunate to work the point with a family that has the same love for it as we do.

Very close to Valencia but still in the province of Cuenca is the factory where Rafael father and son make all the zubi pieces. Founded in 1977 when they decided to finish a production that their previous company did not deliver. This production took place in a small textile crafts workshop, which has grown over the years while maintaining the highest quality in everything they do.

The entire process is carried out under the same roof, knitting, sewing, washing and ironing with the best machines and the best hands. They have also had the patience to teach us everything they know, to try new things and to form a great team with us.

Sustainable is using what we have nearby and opting for higher quality garments, improving their durability. What is made to last a season, or what is produced thousands of kilometers away in questionable conditions, is not sustainable. It is also important to use more and more ecological, sustainable and recycled yarns. Everything to improve our environment and take care of the planet.

Wool is a sustainable material, extremely durable and with unsurpassed sensory and comfort characteristics. If you also combine that with the good work of the person who works it, close to home and with specialized labor, you get a piece of almost haute couture that will last a lifetime.
