workshops / la eriza binding madrid
It is perhaps, along with our Cuenca workshop, the one that has been in zubi the longest, 5 years of agendas and a couple more fabric catalogs that we took to fairs around the world.
Oscar Sánchez Lozano are the hands that make all zubi agendas one by one and by hand. We chose the cover that we have been using for years for a very personal reason, because the paper is thick enough to write on and because the contrast with the printing allows what is written to look great.
From this point the magic begins... each lid is created from scratch, cutting cardboard, gluing, gluing the fabric, pressing, choosing the endpapers and finally joining it with the casing we already had. Each agenda is unique because we want it to be that way. The fabric is never equally focused on 2 agendas, we play with the looseness and the situation of the printing, and to top it off the year printed in different colors and which sometimes makes it hide between the fabric or stand out with the contrast.
There are no others the same, because what is handmade is never the same, but if something is going to accompany you for a whole year and be your right hand, you want it to be special.
