collaborations / zubi x chalk circle "The joy of small things"
September is the return to work, routine and good resolutions. And it should also be time to banish the things we don't like and keep only the things we like. Discover those small pleasures that make each of us happy and create those moments of peace and joy that accompany them.
One of those pleasures is opening a book on your way to work, reading 4 or 5 pages at high speed on the subway or bus and watching the station change at the same pace as your book advances.
This summer Círculo de Tiza sent me their new bombshell, the book The Joy of Small Things by Hannah Jane Parkinson that we devoured to prepare for the return to routine.
We want to share with everyone the small pleasures that make us happy just like Hannah Jane Parkinson does in her book. Here is our list:
1- a very hot tea when it's cold
2- Take off your shoes when you get home and walk barefoot on the wooden floor
3- leave the inbox empty
4- not have anything at the entrance of the house
5- the freshly made bed
6- the end of a training
7- a beer watching a sunset on the beach
8- finish a book
9- listen to a good podcast
10- sailing in Galicia
11- knead cookies, bake cookies, eat cookies
12- brand new notebook or agenda
13- freshly washed jeans
14- a perfect progression with the guitar
15- a hug from my little nephews
16- wake up without alarm clock
17- the minute after finishing tidying up the house
18- a ramen
19- cross the finish line of San Silvestre
20- the sound of a Coca Cola opening
21- lie down on the soft grass
22- wine and cheese with friends
...
There are many more, but the important thing is not to know mine but yours,
Have you made your list yet?
