Ep 38 / Chatting with Laura Baena about the need for conciliation and co-responsibility
Considered a true revolutionary, Laura Baena, founder of the Bad Mothers Club sits down with us today to talk about hot topics such as conciliation. Whether you are a mother or not, father or not, you need to be able to combine your work life with your personal life. Your club is an emotional community. It was born from a tweet and can be considered an entire social movement today.
At thirty years old, Laura had to resign from a job that she loved because she could not reconcile herself and today she fights not to resign. She feels proud to be the voice of many women who feel that they do not achieve everything, that they are not superwoman and that they cannot bear the perfect smile 24 hours a day without blinking. Today their project has become a business from which they live and from which many bad mothers are inspired. It works as a means of communication with daily content that must be worked on, and aimed at helping those mothers who often lose their identity and do not find time to take care of themselves. It also has an online store where the important thing is not the products themselves but the messages of struggle that identify a generation.
We have talked about the change that has to occur at all levels, cultural, social, educational, and change in values of equality and co-responsibility. Above all, we have talked about the necessary change that must be made by the government, a change in measures that help companies implement greater flexibility, work by objectives and support for motherhood.
An extremely interesting podcast that concerns everyone. We leave you with him.
